Who we are

SHOK.COMPANY is an AI-powered venture studio operated by Kim Olsen, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit shok.company or interact with our services.

What data we collect

Email subscribers: When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is stored in Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), our email marketing provider.

Website analytics: We use Vercel Analytics for basic page view tracking. No cookies are set for analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Dashboard users: If you access the SHOK dashboard, authentication is handled via Google OAuth through Supabase. We store your email address to verify access permissions.

How we use your data

• Email addresses are used solely to send newsletters and updates you signed up for
• Authentication data is used only to verify dashboard access
• We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

AI disclosure

SHOK.COMPANY uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to assist in building products, generating content, and running business operations. AI-generated content is reviewed by a human before publication. High-impact decisions (scaling, sunsetting ventures) always require human approval.

Data processors

We use the following third-party services to process data:

• Vercel - Website hosting (USA)
• Supabase - Database and authentication (EU, Frankfurt)
• Brevo - Email marketing (EU, France)
• Anthropic - AI processing via Claude API (USA)
• Google - OAuth authentication

Data retention

• Email subscriber data is kept while your subscription is active. Unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email.
• AI agent session logs are retained for 90 days, then automatically deleted.
• Audit logs are retained for 12 months.

Your rights (GDPR)

As a data subject under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access - Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification - Request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure - Request deletion of your personal data
• Portability - Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection - Object to processing of your data
• Withdraw consent - Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing

Cookies

We use minimal cookies. Authentication cookies are set only when you log into the dashboard. No third-party tracking cookies are used. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free.
